The redevelopment of the Zetter Town House followed Chetwoods work on the acclaimed Zetter Hotel. The project demanded a similarly innovative and commercial approach to the challenges of a historic building on a tight urban site in a Conservation Area.

The scheme involved converting two Georgian townhouses in the historic heart of Clerkenwell into a 13-bed hotel, cocktail bar and restaurant.

The project retained and emphasised the existing historic building to conjure up a series of exciting, unique rooms and spaces, which at the same time provided a very high level of accommodation and varied function use.

As well as acting as lead consultants on the development of the townhouse, Chetwoods worked closely with the client’s brand consultants and interior designers Russell Sage Interior Design.
