Chetwoods were appointed by client Essex Wharf Ltd and A2 Dominion to develop the designs for a high quality residential development set alongside the tranquillity of the river Lea. High quality design and finishes compliment the desirable waterside location.

The scheme provides 124 one and two bedroom apartments with 47% affordable provision. With generous on site private parking provision, the development is set in four independent blocks, and careful design has produced a scheme which gives all apartments river side views.

Due to the complex nature of the site, Chetwoods worked with key stakeholders and local parties on the development of the emerging scheme through a series of workshops, incorporating comments and concerns into the design where possible.

The scheme was displayed and discussed at a public consultation exercise held at Lea Valley Ice Centre; this collaborative approach led to the scheme being granted planning permission.
