Valor Park Greenford

A high-quality industrial redevelopment on a 1.88-hectare Strategic Industrial Location (SIL) site setting a benchmark for future development. The scheme comprises three logistics and warehousing units within a single building, designed for B2/B8 industrial and storage use with ancillary office accommodation.
The proposal is informed by strong urban design principles, creating a future-proofed development that responds positively to its context. The building form is simple and architecturally coherent, with a clear and consistent identity across the site. Public and private areas are well defined to improve legibility and sense of place, with inclusive access for HGVs, private vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians and public transport users.
Sustainability is embedded throughout. The buildings are designed to minimise energy demand and operational carbon emissions through efficient fabric and systems. Water conservation measures, including grey water systems, support site operations, while landscaping enhances biodiversity.
The warehouse incorporates mezzanine storage and ancillary office accommodation. The layout is optimised for high-volume loading and unloading operations. Internally, the warehouse provides a 12-metre clear haunch height, enabling operational flexibility and future adaptability. The steel portal frame structure is clad in insulated metal panels, with varied textures, colours and profiles used to reduce the visual scale of the elevations. The distinction between office and warehouse elements introduces greater visual clarity and a more human scale. Entrances are emphasised through feature porticos and glazed curtain walling, while office spaces maximise daylight and provide views across operational areas.
The landscape strategy targets biodiversity net gain through biodiverse green roofs to cycle stores, permeable paving for sustainable drainage, new hedgerow planting and native tree planting along the canal corridor to strengthen ecological connectivity.
