With a GIA of 265,000sqft it includes a production area and warehouse and distribution space, as well as office space, external storage containers, carbon dioxide and sugar tanks and other enclosed plant areas. The production and warehouse space includes 31,280sqft for future expansions.
This is AG Barr’s most modern facility in the country, using laser guided vehicles and state of the art canning machines to meet demand. The canning facility works at a rate of 2,000 cans per minute alongside a full pasteurising facility. The building also provides a packaging facility and robotic palletisers to work alongside the high levels of automation.
We have also delivered a Stage 2 extension as part of AG Barr’s £7M investment plan to allow the site to become the company’s national carton production site.
