We were proud to host the recent Best of the Built Environment Graduate Show in Birmingham, in collaboration with the Senator Group. The event was designed to spotlight and celebrate the brightest emerging talent from the West Midlands’ built environment community.

This inspiring evening brought together influential representatives from RIBA, CIAT, BAA and other key industry bodies, united in their commitment to support and nurture the next generation of architects, technologists and designers.

Eighteen exceptional final-year students, who had been nominated by their tutors at the University of Wolverhampton, Birmingham City University, and Coventry University, were selected for their creativity, technical ability, and potential to shape the future of the industry. Their work was presented to an audience of employers, mentors, and professionals keen to connect with the talent of tomorrow.

The event served as a dynamic platform to showcase innovative thinking in architecture and the built environment, while also fostering new connections and long-term opportunities. As much a celebration as a catalyst, the show provided a valuable space for dialogue, collaboration, and career development.

At its heart, this event was a celebration of innovation, collaboration and the future of our industry, and given the overwhelmingly positive response, we are planning for the Best of the Built Environment Graduate Show to become an annual celebration of the region’s talent, and next year we will be broadening its scope further to include interior design.
