Chetwoods were appointed by client Woodbourne Group on the redevelopment of an industrial infill brownfield site to create a new sustainable community with 70 new homes in West Bromwich. The high-quality and sustainable housing scheme will compromise of 53 houses and 17 apartments.

The design is centred on the evolving and diverse family dynamics, modern modes of living and can adapt to future lifestyles. The scheme provides 100% electric vehicle charge points, cycle storage for all the units, solar PV panels, rainwater harvesting, as well as being well within the current nationals standards for carbon reduction, and is in line to receive Secured by Design Gold Award once completed.

Chetwoods have led the design process as lead consultant working closely with Woodbourne Group to evolve the scheme.
Early consultation was very well received with planning permission being granted in August 2017. Start on site is currently programmed for January 2018.
