A Show Garden for the 2017 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.  The garden was designed around the Silk Road, the historic East-West route and its cultural, social and trade links.  Planting, architectural and design elements combine to represent the rich history, culture and varied landscape of Chengdu City and Sichuan Province in China.

Elements in the design and planting reflect Chengdu’s history, the culture of Sichuan Opera, and the city’s ancient Sun and Immortal Birds legend.  The garden was designed by Laurie in partnership with Patrick Collins.
