Three of Laurie Chetwood’s drawings have been shortlisted for The RIBA Journal Eye Line 2017 annual architectural drawing competition.

The artwork is a masterplan concept for Suzhou University, China, a city of 4.3 million people located 60 miles northwest of Shanghai. The proposals blend the new campus with the ecological diversity of its location in a natural setting on the outskirts of the city, surrounded by waterways. The buildings will filter air and water and provide habitats throughout the site for flora and fauna with mollusc and insect hotels.
