We are delighted to be supporting this year’s Article 25 10×10 Drawing the City auction.
The theme of this year’s auction is ‘Markets from Memory’ and Laurie Chetwood was invited to contribute an artwork.
Market Garden celebrates everything that leads to the market. It depicts the myths and legends that contribute to a good harvest, the weather, the land and the sea. The central figure is Demeter, the Greek goddess of harvest who is also the goddess of agriculture and the cycle of life and death.
Article 25 is a humanitarian charity that uses design to improve health, livelihood and resilience to disasters. 10×10 Drawing the City is the charity’s flagship fundraising event that brings together artists, designers, and architects to create pieces of artwork reflecting on the constantly changing landscape of the city.
The online silent auction runs until 15th November.
