Phoenix Towers, Wuhan Air and Lakes by Laurie Chetwood was highly commended in the Architecture Drawing Prize 2019 announced at the World Architecture Festival.  The work is on display until 20th February in the Architecture Drawing Prize 2019 Exhibition at Sir John Soane’s Museum in London.

The Architecture Drawing Prize is an international competition that celebrates the art and skill of architectural drawing. Now in its third year, the prize is curated by Make Architects, Sir John Soane’s Museum and the World Architecture Festival.

The 1km high Phoenix Towers for the City of Wuhan in China are being designed to aerate the lakes which are a feature of the city, and clean the air as part of an environmental initiative.
